Craniofacial Centre Nepal

In collaboration with InTouch Charitable Foundation, we have established a new centre in Janakpur, south east Nepal to treat people with clefts and craniofacial problems. This is a major project establishing the infrastructure both in the centre and wider community of south east Nepal and northern states of India

Dr Sunil Sah, Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon in Wakefield and originally from Nepal has recently been there to establish the centre, negotiating facilites, completing an unfinished part of the Janakpur Trauma Hospital, furnishing the out patients and putting in place preliminary management. We will need to train the doctors, sending them further afield, and also speech therapists, social workers and other staff required to run a top quality centre
